After Installing 11.8,and creating the Application in Imaging,we got below error:
"Unable to execute service IPM_CREATE_APPLICATION and function ipmDeserializeApplicationData. The error was caused by an internally generated issue. The error has been logged."
This is because IPM 'upload' services were not present as part of the default set of services
3 services are needed:IPM_CREATE_APPLICATION ,
IPM_MODIFY_APPLICATION and IPM_DOCUMENT_UPLOAD to default list of upload
services.
Solution:
Please apply below two latest patches for IPM .
Patch 19002395: CUMULATIVE IPM/AXF PATCH 11.1.1.8.0 NUMBER 6 DATE 2014-06-17
Patch 19001500: CUMULATIVE IPMREPOSITORY PATCH 11.1.1.8.0 NUMBER 3 DATE 2014-06-17
