Webcenter Imaging URL not working giving 404 not found error

PROBLEM:

Webcenter Imaging URL not working giving 404 not found error

CAUSE:

This error is misleading ,and there are two causes for this.

1)It might happens due to some java update imaging.ear file got undeployed from the weblogic console.

2)After AD Integration and IPMREFRESHSECURITY() leadsto this error.


SOLUTION:

1.a)Log in to console

1.b)Select deployments,Verify whether Imaging.ear is not in the list

1.c)If not,click install,browse to the directory having imaging.ear files and complete the installation.

1.d)Restart the server and check the default URL

http://<host>:port/imaging

2.a) Create a user in your AD provider

2.b) Delete the  contents of system_security table for this user created

2.c) Login to the URL with this user

Access the URL issue is gone.
