The InvoiceSynchronization process has a step called AttachImageToInvoiceTransaction. This adds the Imaging file as a native attachment to the E-Business Suite Invoice. The actual file is not uploaded to EBS, but the native attachment is a link to the Imaging document to be opened in the Imaging viewer.
WHY?
If WebCenter Content Managed Attachments is enabled, the Paperclip in EBS Forms is disabled by default. However, it can be re-enabled if a row is added to the AXF_PROPERTIES table in the AXF schema on the EBS database.
SOLUTION:
These values are case sensitive. If using the Solution Accelerator Invoicing processes, the Paperclip should be re-enabled in order to verify that the Image has been attached successfully to EBS.
